About This Project

In June 2017, 3 members of the team got to visit the city of Nagaland in India for a full week. The purpose of this visit was to further strengthen our partnership with HelpLive, while getting to expand our horizons in as far as child-development programs in India.

Each day was activity-packed, as we got to visit churches, schools and children’s homes, as well as sit down with the various men and women that applied themselves to the development of these institutions, and the children they served. This was an eye-opening journey that refreshed our perspective on some of the very issues that we face in Kenya, like the debilitating effects of corruption and the importance of educated, empowered children as transformational tools of society.
