20 Aug Kipepeo Comes to Kenya

Proverbs 22:6

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Star Kids Initiative seeks to eradicate poverty by empowering children through mentorship and scholarship programs. Through our long term program at Songa Mbele, we have partnered with Kipepeo Clothing  to raise funds for the school in the ‘Kipepeo Goes to Kenya’ Campaign.

Kipepeo Clothing is a social enterprise that creates jobs in the textile industry through local value creation and production and supports local school projects through the sale of these products.

Through a crowdfunding campaign – – Kipepeo Clothing will be raising funds to support Songa Mbele. The Kipepeo team led by the founder Martin Kluck and Samuel Luke bond will be hitchhiking from Germany to Kenya from August to September.

Kipepeo Clothing’s new collection are drawings by our very own Songa Mbele kids during a city tour. Here are some of the designs you can get from the collection.
